Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, The Gambia, Nigeria, Senegal, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa - Consolidated HDSS data from 29 sub-Saharan African Sites, 1990-2018

The data from all sites are combined together and cleaned, to ensure consistency across sites. Cleaning includes correction for inconsistencies in events (such as a birth event after an out-migration), and removing individuals with important missing data (such as date of birth). Additionally, the data is prepared for event history analysis, including creating a variable of residence, and inserting five-year period events.
